The Mob sta Emma-Cecilia Ajanki in Julia Giertz, švedinji, ki sta se izobraževali na Nacionalni šoli za sodobni ples na Danskem. The Mob proslavlja uprizoritvene umetnosti kot inter-relacijske, priznavajoč koreografijo kot način komuniciranja s publiko - telo lahko govori na način, na katerega besede ne morejo. Njuno sodelovanje se je začelo 2007 in od takrat sta ustvarili veliko število predstav in instalacij, kot tudi elektro-pop koncertov. Gostujeta po Evropi in Ameriki. Nenehno izprašujeta norme z dobesednim, a hkrati poetičnim in anarhističnim pristopom do akcij, estetik in konceptov.

The Mob are Emma-Cecilia Ajanki and Julia Giertz, both from Sweden, but educated at the National School of Contemporary Dance in Denmark. The Mob celebrates performing arts as all inter-relational, acknowledging choreography as a way of communicating with an audience - the body can speak in a way words cannot. Their collaboration started in 2007 and since then they have created a number of performances and installations, as well as electro-pop concerts, touring in Europe and USA. They constantly question norms with a literal, yet poetic and anarchistic approach to actions, esthetics and concept.

POGO MOB je avtorska predstava Emme-Cecilie Ajanki in Julie Giertz, ki temelji na konceptu punka in DIY (Do it Yourself - Naredi sam). Pogo Mob ne želi poustvariti estetike ali zvočnega polja punka, ampak pojasnitev tega, kaj pomeni narediti sam. V predstavi odzvanja "mosh pit", ekstremna oblika človeškega stika v kateri izginja lastna identiteta in te pusti izmučenega, a tudi vznemirjenega.

POGO MOB is a performance created by Emma-Cecilia Ajanki and Julia Giertz based on the concept of Punk and DIY (Do It Yourself). Pogo Mob is not an attempt to recreate the aesthetics or soundscape of Punk, but an elucidation of what it means to Do It Yourself. It has echoes of the mosh pit, an extreme form of human contact where one's identity is drowned out. Leaving you exhausted but exhilarated.
