ABOUT FESTIVAL
Moment letos drugič organizira festival, ki nima enotnega pogleda na gledališče, ki ne zna ločiti med različnimi estetikami, ki ne pristaja na predalčkanje, ki ne verjame, da umetnost ni za vse in ne verjame izgovorom tistih, ki ne hodijo v gledališče.
Moment is organising the second festival without unified view on the theatre, that cannot differ between various aesthetics, that does not agree to define things, that does not believe that the art is not for everyone and that does not believe the excuses of those that do not visit theatre.
Festival traja od 28. avgusta do 4. septembra 2011. V tem času se bo odvijal program, sestavljen iz treh domačih in treh tujih predstav. Vsak večer bo po predstavah pogovor, druženje ob pijači in jedači, na katerem bo možno spregovoriti z umetniki in stopiti z njimi v dialog. Zraven predstav bo festival gostil delavnico/rezidenco Via Negativa namenjeno širokemu krogu odrskih ustvarjalcev, obenem pa so delavnice začetek snovanja nove predstave. Vse dni bodo po mestu manjše in večje umetniške akcije, ki bodo poživljale mestni utrip, nagovarjale mimoidoče in obenem vabile k sodelovanju preostalega dela festivala.
The festival will be held between 28th of August and 4th of September 2011. The festival’s program is composed of three Slovenian and three foreign performances. After every performance, there will be a discussion and meeting with refreshments, where you will be able to contact the artists and have a dialogue with them. Besides performances, Crossings festival is going to host the workshop/residence Via Negativa, meant for a wide circle of performing artists, which is at the same time start of creating a new performance. During the festival there will be also artistic actions that will revive city’s beat, address passengers and invite them to visit the rest of the festival.
Festival Prestopi letos združuje moči s festivali Poletni lutkovni pristan, Nagib in Platforma. S tovrstnim sodelovanjem plemenitimo program in drug drugemu pomagamo pri doseganju zastavljenih ciljev.
This year the Festival Crossings collaborates with Summer Puppet Pier, Nagib and Platoforma. With this kind of collaboration we enrich the program and help each other at achieving the goals.
